Support through your will is an important part of the Foundation's income. We have a long-standing policy of capitalising bequests to ensure a sound capital base and therefore the long-term future of our research projects. Consequently bequests to the Neurological Foundation are a lasting legacy and often a suitable memorial to a loved one.
If you would like to support the Neurological Foundation's work to improve the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders, you should contact your solicitor or trust company and ask that the following clause be inserted in your will:
I give to the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand the sum of $ _________ (or a _______ share in the residue of my estate) for the general purposes of the Foundation (or for a specific purpose) and I declare that the receipt of the Executive Director or Treasurer for the time being of the Foundation shall be good discharge to my Trustee.
Bequests can be in cash, shares, real estate or any other property and can be made by way of gift during your life-time or can be bequeathed in your will.
