2007 Annual Appeal July 8 to 14
What would you consider our society's most serious health problem - cancer, heart disease, HIV/Aids?
In fact, brain disorders hold top place. Currently they affect as many as a billion people worldwide , that is, one thousand million people â, almost a sixth of the world's total population and 25 times more people than the 39.5 million estimated to be infected with HIV/Aids.
