About Us

  • The Council is responsible for the corporate governance of the Neurological Foundation.

The present Council embodies a national representation with members coming from Central Otago, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Te Awamutu, Hamilton and Auckland.

  • The Neurological Foundation uses a peer-review system to evaluate research applications. Although the Foundation’s National Council makes the final decisions regarding allocation of funds for research they rely heavily on expert advice from the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).

  • The Foundation’s Donor Relations team liaises with donors and other community organisations. Contact these staff for information about the work of the Neurological Foundation and supporting the Foundation.

  • The Christchurch office is located at the New Zealand Brain Research institute, 66 Stewart Street, Christchurch 8011.

Please see contact details below for our Christchurch team.

  • The National Office is located at 66 Grafton Road, adjacent to the Auckland School of Medicine and Auckland City Hospital.
