Summer Studentships - Logan Dennis

This week, we're excited to announce our Summer Studentships for 2023! Three amazing students will receive personal support as they gain research skills and experience.

Congratulations to Logan Dennis, University of Otago, who is aiming to find a genetic diagnosis for two patients who have similar features to a rare genetic disease known as Meier-Gorlin syndrome. By characterising a gene called ORC5, Logan hopes that diagnosis and prognosis for people with Meier-Gorlin syndrome-like features can be improved. “Families deserve the answer, and we have the ability to work towards a conclusion for these patients and their families.”
